Who is perfect? Who does everything perfect? Rarely is perfection found. So when someone tells me practice makes perfect, it doesn't sound intriguing and I know it is an untrue statement, because I practice and I make mistakes. That is why I like the statement Practice Makes Better and Better...
It is easy to think that a mistake is a failure, but this is untrue! Mistakes are the steps that teach us how to improve upon that which we are currently doing. Too many fear failure, yet failure is key to growth by failing we learn what doesn't work and continue to searching until we find what works leading us to success!
It is important to have a growth mindset that we can develop our abilities including intelligence. Our brains our malleable and when we continue to practice and practice and are open minded to learning new ways and taking action through practice and practice we will succeed!
